Six months later in Nov-82 when I got my first video camera I decided to try to make a lip sync video like they do on MTV

There we were gathered all around Nobody in the room made a sound As we watched you fill the air The feelings from your heart were everywhere And I looked at you my throat ran dry There was no easy way to say goodbye So there I sat holding it inside I wish I could have said what was on my mind I wanted you to know that I will remember you I wanted you to know that itll never be the same I wanted you to know that Ill always remember you Yes you! The time flew by to my last day Everything I owned was packed away It was time to leave so hard to go Thinking about the friends Ive always known And I thought of You and all we shared Remembered all you done and how you cared And I drove away to that southern sky I wish you could have known what was on my mind
